It is always a great pleasure working with Stephan Fains of BCAP.. his passion for the community and lifting others up.. is contiguous. He is a huge supporter of all things TLC. BCAP extended an invitation to TLC to join in on the Responsible Fatherhood Program which encourages men to be "DAD's" - doing as dad's should. Amazing Program.

A wonderful Christmas party was held at Rip it Batting Cages Part of the Reading Fightin Phils facilities. This was a fun and unique setting which had everyone smiling and having a great time. Our TLC Bear made a special appearance. In addition, PRLA made a wonderful special birthday cake and sang happy Birthday to TLC's Tillman Sims. What a wonderful and thoughtful surprise.

This is our Annual Golf getaway. #ThereYouGoGolf Invitational is a great time to relax.. all while experiencing new courses with friends old and new. This trip is put together by Devin Merritt, one of his many contributions to TLC. Devin and #ThereYouGoGolf does an amazing Job hosting this wonder getaway all at an affordable price.

This tournament is to raise awareness for Delaney Ann Brown legacy to bring hope to other children in situation like hers, During her battle with AML, Laney’s story was heard all around the world, and she became a source of inspiration and hope to so many. This was truly a very special event.

The Reading Fightin Phils elected our brother and huge supporter Roberto Sanchez to usher in a new movement for the youth. To expand and introduce the game of baseball to all. Rip it for Life was created. The plan is to have safe place for kids to play and practice baseball.

Team up once again with our brother Eric Rodriguez of Mike & Joes Barber Shop and the United Barbers. We always enjoy teaming up with them cause it truly is all about the kids. And they had the 3rd & Spruce Rec Center jumping and this time our TLC Bunny made a cameo appearance.. with music and games. They gave out free cuts for the boys and had hair dresser for the girls.. free pizzas, drinks and you know TLC will bring the cotton candy.. always a kid favorite.

We had an amazing time at Evening on the Green at Manor Golf Club, sponsored by Tomkins Vist Bank and The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge. Golf was introduced to new friends for the first time, and the night included dancing, donations, raffle prices, and food sampling, with part of the donations given to The First Tee Program of Berks County. Thank you to Cheryl Heckman at Manor Golf, as well as Ridgewood Winery, Chuck Cahoe, and Scott's Gyro Box food truck.

We welcomed caddies Erron Archie and Bubba Spotts to our Caddie Mentor Program in July. We give a special thank you to Savage 61 Tim Profit for helping to make this day possible. We want to ensure that the experience your student has with us is a positive one and that they receive mentoring in an environment geared toward safety, fun and a new experiences. The Village host an event every Friday evening during the summer from 7:30 - 9:30pm. It is a great positive atmosphere for teens to come out and play safely. Lots of activites, games, prizes, guest speakers and more.
